13,000 kilometers later, I’m in Dubai, after 12 years into copywriting, I’ve worked brands like Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, Philip Morris, Mountain Dew, and many more. Along the way, Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, LIA, and others have stamped my work.
I was an ACD before moving here, then jumped into a senior copy role to absorb a new culture, language, and market. Now I have over 3 years of experience in MENA with a Saudi company, and it’s been one of the wildest rides yet.
“Creative” isn’t just a job title for me. I shoot travel photography, cut edits in Premiere, and spin fast hard-techno beats as a DJ, sometimes producing tracks of my own. That hunger for more? It is still burning hard inside of me, just like back in the hood.
